FOrmé à VancOuver en 2000, 3 Inches Of BlOOd perpétue l'héritage des fOrmatiOns de heavy-metal telles qu'IrOn Maiden Ou King DiamOnd, ajOutant à ses cOmpOsitiOns Old-schOOl un sOn mOderne et plus puissant. La particularité du grOupe est d'être compOsé de deux chanteurs, l'un crillard (Cam Pipes) et un plus heavy (Jamie HOOper), cOmplété par Justin Hagberg (guitare), Shane Clark (guitare), Nick Cates (basse) et Alexei ROdriguez (batterie). Le premier album du grOupe, Battlecry Under A Wintersun, passe quasi inaperçu, mais sa signature chez ROadrunner permet au grOupe de bénéficier d'une plus grande prOmOtion avec Advance And Vanquish, paru en 2004. Le nOuvel album du grOupe, Fire Up The Blades, est sOrti en juin 2007 et fut prOduit par JOey JOrdissOn (SlipknOt).
